Hi Guys! Hope everyone is doing well! I’m exhausted! It’s been a pretty eventful week jam packed with a lot of birthday celebrations.
Luckily I was still able to get some sewing done.
I had this Mimi G Zebra print rayon that I got from fabric.com, laying in my stash for a while and thought yeah let’s go on ahead and use it.
This print sold out extremely fast by the way, which is understandable its Mimi G, But the quality is top tear, it’s so soft and has a nice drape.
So for the top I drafted a cowl neck that I cut on the bias and the skirt I used a 3/4 circle skirt pattern, added pockets then made a slit down the side front and used the seam allowance to create a casing for a drawstring. It was a pretty quick project. If I had to do it again though I might use a full circle skirt instead.
All in all I’m pretty satisfied with the turnout see pictures below!
