Hey guys! Happy Easter! I hope everyone got to enjoy some well-deserved time with their family. I'm really excited about this week's post. I got this pattern in a Joann's pattern haul and have been staring at it weekly just thinking about how to use it. I finally decided on a contrast, that's usually my pairing of choice. I usually contrast different patterns using the same colorway. This time however I used two fabrics with the same pattern in an inverse colorway and I really loved the result.

Modifications: This pattern is meant for a heavier fabric so this had to be fully lined. I also thought that the dress was a little more basic as is so to dress it up a bit I added detachable sleeves ( my favorite part!). It's a dress you could easily wear to brunch or a special occasion dinner. You could even take the sleeves off and style over a basic tea and some sneakers for a casual errand outfit.
