Hi guys,
Running so late with this post, sorry it’s been a pretty busy week/weekend. This week I got an opportunity to test a pattern for Lydia Naomi for her new Meadow overalls. Let me tell you I LOVE THIS PATTERN. I really love overalls, especially when they’re non traditional so when I saw these I was immediately intrigued.
The whole pattern was fairly easy to complete, only took me a day from printing the pattern to last stitch. She has 3 lengths with two optional strap finishes. I chose View A using the cropped length and continuous bias binding strap. 24 hours later I tried them on again and felt that the bias binding straps were a little too snug and cut them to make tie straps.
My favorite feature on these would be the flower pockets. The shape is something I’ve never seen before and it really makes them unique. I used 2.5 yards of a tie dye denim that I found at Joann’s thats technically listed as a juvenile pattern but I liked it anyway.
I’ve gotten so many compliments on them and will definitely make them again. Highly recommend this pattern 5 stars!
