Petals in the wind

Hello again guys!! I hope everyone had a wonderful week. I cannot believe it's May already. You know what that means...Prom and wedding season which means all the seamstresses will be extremely busy. But busy is good no complaints here. That being said let's get to this week's post. I'm back on my African print vibe again.

Yet another McCall's Pattern M6331. This is a go to pattern for me. Probably my third time making it and I'll probably have to digitize it because of how much I've worn the pattern down. My favorite part of this pattern that makes it stand out is the skirt. The rounded petal pieces make it so flirty and feminine and a little more modern than most full skirt patterns.

I used two separate fabrics for the bodice/skirt peices and one for the cup of the bustier. I love the way this came together and I'm sure you'll be seeing this again in some way shape or form.

Pattern: McCalls M6331 View C

Fabric: Ankara cotton

Size Cut: 14

Amendments: I needed mores support and used the straps from view B
