Stella PDF pattern

Hey guys! Happy Monday,

I have been trying to get back into the groove of producing work every week. It starts with one day at a time right? Well I was perusing through Etsy and found something some great PDF patterns. I'm actually leaning more towards pdf patterns lately over commercial patterns. Don't get me wrong I'll go for the big 5 in a heartbeat (especially with Mimi G heading things up and the addition of Know Me) but the simplicity and immediacy of being able to print something on demand and cut it out cannot be overstated.

I chose this Stella pattern because of the cut out in the back, and I was not disappointed.

I started out with a basic blue Knit Jersey Fabric and when I finished I was like I definitely need this in a pattern. As you know I love prints! I found this red and gold knit fabric downtown that was ideal.

The thing I love about this pattern is that it's really easy to put together and sew up. I was able pull it all together in one day, and the creator gives you the option to customize the slit. My con would be that the directions can be a bit confusing at times but there are plenty of pictures. The directions only call for a facing on the back pieces but I would suggest facing the side fronts as well. But again love this pattern and I will be making this one again and again.
